CADYVILLE – Alice Veronica Cringle, 95, of Route 3, passed away, April 12, 2024.

She was born February 16, 1929, daughter of Ovid and Lena (Collins) Facteau.

Alice attended and graduated from Sallaz Academy in Redford.

She met the love of her life, John "Jack" Cringle and they married on February 21, 1950 at the Church of the Assumption in Redford.

Alice was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She loved cooking for the family, playing bingo, and spending time in her gardens.  Alice also loved a good game of cards, especially Pinochle!

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her sons, Chris and Tammy Cringle, Kenneth and Donna Cringle, Brent and Colleen Cringle and Chad Cringle;  her sisters, Mildred "Milly" Rock and Barbara Sorrell;  grandchildren, Amber Liberty, Steve Cringle, Joshua Cringle, Adam Cringle, Brad Cringle, Jennie Lynn Cringle, Robert Brault, Cari Short, and Scott Brault;  15 great-grandchildren;  and many nieces and nephews.

Alice was predeceased by her husband;  two sons, Scott Cringle and Steve Cringle; sister, Monica Facteau;  and brothers, Andrew (Barbara) Facteau, Clement (Joan) Facteau, Ovid (Babe) Facteau, and Howard Facteau.

The family wishes to share their sincere appreciation to Sandy, Betty, Lisa, and Sharron for the months of dedicated home care. A special thanks to her niece, Sandy.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will take place in the family plot in Assumption Cemetery in Redford.
