PLATTSBURGH – Aline C. Fessette, 87, of the Lake Shore Road, Point Au Roche, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice of the North Country.

She was born in Coopersville on May 6, 1931, daughter of the late John and Alexandrine (Fortin) Tetreault.

Aline graduated from Chazy Rural School in 1950. She married the love of her life, Alfred H. Fessette, at St. Joseph's Church in Coopersville in 1951. Alfred passed away on August 5, 2017. Aline was a dedicated and devoted wife and mother. She spent countless hours caring for her family and helping on their family farm, Fessette's Farm Inc. For over 73 years she and her husband Alfred took great pride in their farm. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy, a member of the Altar Rosary Society, and a lifelong member of the Beekmantown Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed bowling in her spare time.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her five sons, Gregory and Ilene Fessette of Point Au Roche, Steve and Jody Fessette of Point Au Roche, Glenn and Donna Fessette of Point Au Roche, Gary and Amy Fessette of Plattsburgh, Allen and Kathleen Fessette of Morrisonville; one daughter, Donna and William Stathis of Syracuse, NY; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Andre Tetreault of Champlain; and one sister, Angela House of Plattsburgh.

She was predeceased by one brother, Rene Tetreault.

Calling hours will be held today, Tuesday, December 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy. Burial will take place in the spring in the parish cemetery.
