Andrée Helen Racette Frechette, age 83, of Bailey Avenue, Plattsburgh, passed away peacefully at her home on August 16, 2020. She was born in Ottawa, Canada on June 21, 1937, the daughter of Rudolph and Amy (Schroder) Racette.

Andrée was an outgoing, lovely lady, always planning her next adventure. Her grandchildren and great-granddaughter were the light of her life. Andrée was loved by all!

She is survived by her son, Thomas and Melanie Frechette of Plattsburgh; her daughter, JoAnne Frechette of Plattsburgh; two grandsons, Mackenzie and Amber Kilkeary and Zachary Frechette; great-granddaughter, Aisla M. Kilkeary; three sisters ;one brother and several nieces and nephews.

Andrée was predeceased by her loving husband, John Frechette; grandson, Mitchell Kilkeary; her parents, Rudolph and Amy Racette; two sisters and three brothers.

There will be a private viewing for immediate family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh. Entombment will immediately follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
