Angela
House
March 3, 1938 – July 4, 2022
On July 4, 2022, the Lord took one of his daughters home. Angela House (Ann-Marie Angele Tetreault) passed away at the UVHN-CVPH Medical Center with her loving daughters and grandchildren Brooke Maynard and Alexander Broderick by her side. Angela (many knew as Aunt Angie) was born on March 3, 1938 in Coopersville, NY to Jean Baptiste Teatreault and Alexandrine Tetreault (Fortin) where she grew up on the family farm. Angela entered first grade at Chazy Central School only able to speak French and graduated in1957. Her favorite class was Woodshop. She was united in marriage on October 20, 1962 to Gordon W. House - a true story of a city mouse meets a country mouse. She worked for many years for Marriott at the SUNY Plattsburgh Campus but most people remember her from her many years of employment at Lou's Market where she always had a smile on her face. Angela was a devoted wife and mother to her three daughters, and helped raise five foster children and stayed at home to care for her five grandchildren while her daughters worked. She loved sports and spent many summers assisting City of Plattsburgh softball coaches when her daughters played in the City softball league. She also spent many summers cheering for her nephews, the Fessettes, at Hess Gas Slow Pitch Softball Games. Most of all she loved the Montreal Canadiens and the NY Yankees. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and visiting with her friends. Angela is survived by her brother Andre J. Tetreault and his wife Laura of Champlain, NY; three daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren: Judy L. House, her fiance Bryan Atwood, and their son, Seth W. Atwood of Plattsburgh; Penny A. Gaudreau, her husband Daniel Gaudreau and Penny's children Scott A. Maynard and Brooke E. Maynard of Plattsburgh; Terry C. Broderick, her husband John M. Broderick, and their sons, Alexander J. Broderick, his fiance, Mercedes Ellis, and step great-grandson Ellison, and Nathan R. Broderick of Plattsburgh as well as many nieces and nephews - she held a special place in her heart for her niece Donna Fessette-Stathis. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 2011, brothers Dennis Tetreault, Rene Tetreault and sister Aline Fessette (Tetreault).
