CHAZY – Audrey M. LeClaire, 75, of Lavalley Road, passed away, June 24, 2022 at her residence.

She was born in Champlain, NY on July 10, 1946, daughter of Leo and Dorothy (Garrow) Rabideau.

Audrey was a gifted and talented woman who lived her life enjoying every moment with her friends and her family.  She was a great cook, found comfort and peace tending to her garden, and loved to dance.  She was also known for the beautiful craftmanship as a wreath maker and made numerous wreaths for many organizations and families throughout the North Country.

Audrey's tenacious spirit, loyal heart, and caring nature will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly LeClaire of Plattsburgh;  sister, Carol Watts and her husband Bill of Mooers;  her brother Johnny Rabideau and his wife Sandy Castine Rabideau of Mooers;  and eight nieces and nephews, Mark LaFountain, Michael Watts, Dan Watts, Victoria Watts, Travis Watts, John Rabideau, Cassandra Rabideau and Fernando Lopez.  She also leaves behind numerous friends including Bruce LeClaire.

Audrey was predeceased by her parents and one sister, Lorraine LaFountain.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.  A funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Entombment will take place with her parents at a later date in the Town of Ellenburg Mausoleum in Ellenburg Depot.
