PLATTSBURGH – Barbara J. Eldredge, 84, of Wallace Hill Road, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in the Sub-Acute at Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility.

She was born in Dearborn, Michigan on May 16, 1936 the daughter of Frederick and Letha (Case) Prush.

Barbara married Lester " Big Red" Eldredge on January 18, 1969 at the Church of God in Plattsburgh. Lester passed away March 1998.

She was employed at SUNY Plattsburgh retiring after 22 years.

Survivors include sons, Steven and Elizabeth Eldredge, Mark and Tammy Eldredge and Matthew and his companion, Amy Tremblay all of Plattsburgh; grandchildren, Joshua and his wife Aubrey, Jacob, Brandon, Nicholas, Phoebe, Noah and Evan Eldredge and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband and three sisters, Doris Doyle, Mildred Roushia and Marion Rogers.

Due to Covid-19 services will be private for the family at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at the Town of Plattsburgh Mausoleum.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Hospital and/or the Plattsburgh Interfaith Food Shelf at the United Methodist Church.
