CHAZY – Barbara Jubert, 96, of 260 Lake Street, Rouses Point, passed away, December 24, 2022 surrounded by her loving family .

She was born in West Chazy on March 19, 1926, daughter of Louis and Ruth (Parker) Barnaby.

Barbara graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1944.  She then married Harold E. Jubert on June 2, 1945 in St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy.  On October 11, 2009, Harold passed away after 64 years of marriage together.

Barbara worked at Jubert's Store in Sciota for 28 years and also worked as the Secretary for the Town of Chazy for 18 years.

She enjoyed antiquing with her late husband, reading, and doing needlework.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Morgan and her husband John Morgan, II;  two grandchildren, Stephanie Morgan Joyce and her husband Patrick and John C. Morgan, III and his wife Jenny;  three great-grandchildren, Nolan Joyce, Kate Morgan, and Madison Leary;  and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents;  husband, Harold;  and sister, Audrey Recor.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30 ^th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh followed by a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will take place in the spring in Riverview Cemetery in Chazy.
