MORRISONVILLE – Barbara A. Rock, 71, of Charles Way, passed away, July 8, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 7, 1948 in Plattsburgh, the daughter of the late Raymond and Belena (LaPan) Mesec.

Barbara worked for many years as a machinist at Industrial Knitting in Champlain.

She was a very loving and caring woman who would give the shirt off her back just to help someone. Barbara also had a great love for animals and has helped and rescued many of them throughout the years.

Above all else was her love for her family. Barbara was a dedicated wife, sister and friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Larry Rock; son, Larry (Kristina Meseck) Rock; granddaughter, Autumn Rock; sisters, Sheila (Paul) Norcross, Wanda (George) Chaney, Leshia Belrose, Tammy (Jimmy Tetreault) Mesec, and Michele (Chipper) Hurlburt; brothers, Bruce, Ricky (Theresa) and Kevin (Amy Sterling); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Barbara was predeceased by her sister Sandi Planty, and brothers, Gerald Mesec, Wayne Mesec, Mitchell Mesec, and Gary Mesec.
