PLATTSBURGH – Barry A. Roark, 62 of South Platt St., passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 15, 1959 in Riverside CA., the son of James and Phyllis (Hendrie) Roark.

Barry enlisted in the Navy in 1977 and served until he was honorably discharged in 1981. He was an auto mechanic, working at several places throughout his career.

Barry was a hardworking man who loved his family and friends. He was always there when someone was in need. He truly will be greatly missed by many.

Survivors include, his best friends and care givers, Thelma Berger and Vanessa Harnden, Janet Abare; grandchildren Cody Coss, Niko Coss, Hunter Harnden, Novaleigh Harnden, Kourtney Abare; nieces Amanda Roark, Tenya Roark, Annalee Prim, Bethany Roark, Samantha Roark.

He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Mark Roark and Stacey Roark.
