Beatrice Ann
Momot
February 12, 1934 – March 29, 2021
PLATTSBURGH-Beatrice "Bea" Ann Momot, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 29, 2021 in Plattsburgh NY.
Bea was born in Plattsburgh, NY on February 12, 1934. She was predeceased and is now happily reunited with her mother, father, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, daughter-in-law Anne, and many other close relatives.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Arthur "Art", who took incredible care of her and was always willing to add another of her ideas to the honey-do list. Bea and Art were married for 66 years. They partnered to grow a loving and devoted family, traveled often after Art's retirement, and loved spending time together.
As she faced health challenges, it was always Bea's wish to remain in her beautiful home on the lake. Our Dad not only fulfilled this wish, he helped make her final year one of her happiest.
Her beautiful life will be forever cherished and live on in the lives of her 5 children, Peter (Devi), Jeffrey, John (Sharon), Chris (Jessee), Lisa (Dennis), and Jolyon. Her 10 grandchildren, Ashton, Alissa, Megan, Katie, Evelyn, Joseph, Mikaela, Christopher, Corey, and Brandon. Her 4 great grandchildren, Mason, Nicholas, Teagan, and Grayson. And those who held a very special place in her heart including Kimmy, Kathy, Jackie, and best friend Dolores.
Our mom lived for her family. She would do anything for us. We were the most important things in her life and she always let us know that. She was the strongest woman we knew. She wasn't afraid of anyone or anything, and never shied away from offering her opinion(aka "caring advice"). She was a fierce "Mama Bear", a devoted wife, and a loyal friend. Throughout her life, Bea was always game for a new adventure. She enjoyed baking with her granddaughters, snuggling with favorite "great-granddog" Ayla, gardening, spending time boating on the lake, golfing, sunning at the beach, and spending time anywhere with family, friends, and a good glass of wine.
She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. A celebration of her life will be scheduled in Plattsburgh NY at a later date.
Our family would like to thank her Primary Care Giver, Dana Gunn, who our mom considered to be more of a friend than caregiver. Also, thank you to her home healthcare providers, the staff at CVPH Emergency Room and ICU for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the North Country at 358 Tom Miller Rd, Plattsburgh, NY 12901( https://www.hospicenc.org/donate ).
…Mom, we love and miss you so very much.
