PLATTSBURGH--- Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Finnegan, age 74, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at her home in Plattsburgh. She was born July 10, 1944 to Clarence and Della (Castine) Finnegan.

Survivors include three brothers and their wives, Charles and Patricia Finnegan of Lake Wales, FL, James and Barbara Finnegan of Half Moon, NY, and Robert and Joanne Finnegan of Essex Junction, VT; two nephews and their wives, Matthew and Diana Finnegan of Las Vegas, NV, Mark and Maureen Finnegan of Tampa, FL, and a niece Katherine and her husband Benjamin Johnson of Meridian, ID. She is also survived by five great nieces and one great nephew. Betty leaves behind many special friends, including Linda, Sonny and Phyllis, and her beloved bird, Petey. She was predeceased by her parents, and her companion of many years, Harold Lashway.

Betty worked for the Clinton County ARC for several years. The family wishes to thank all of Betty's friends and the social workers who cared for Betty, in particular, Erin St. Denis, Charlotte Halbruda, and Jill Hewson.

Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 6th at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. There will be a private burial in the spring at St. Peter's Cemetery, 4705 South Cat herine Street, Plattsburgh.
