PLATTSBURGH- Betty LaForest, 86, of 4971 So. Catherine St., Plattsburgh, NY, joined her beloved predeceased husband Roland LaForest on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 just in time for their 43rd Anniversary.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mom's joy for life came from her unique bond and special relationships with each member of her family. She took tremendous pride in her home, where she loved crafting, quilting, and baking. Mom's greatest gift to all her children was her ability to listen and provide words of wisdom from her heart.
Betty is survived by her loving children; David Tetreault and his wife Cathy of New Hampshire, Beverly Gordon and her husband Tom of Massachusetts, Scott Tetreault and Fawn Bluto of Plattsburgh, Denise Tetreault of Plattsburgh, Rhonda Burnham and her husband Steve of Syracuse.  Mama is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Kelly and Kathryn Tetreault, DJ and Gabby Tetreault, Sarah Gordon, Kate and Brian Kellett, Jennifer, Elaine and Jay Burnham; great-grandchildren, Lucy and Molly Tetreault, Matthew and Daniel Kellett; Riley Burnham and Finley Clements.

Besides her parents Clarence and Mabel (Chenevert) LaBombard, her brothers; Clarence Jr., LaBombard, Robert LaBombard, Daniel LaBombard and Harold LaBombard predeceased her. Surviving siblings include William LaBombard of Champlain, NY, Mary Baker of Chazy, NY, Donald LaBombard, Helen Sample, Richard LaBombard, and Marvin LaBombard, all of Rouses Point, NY, Allen LaBombard of Monkey Island, OK,

along with many nieces and nephews.
Mom's wishes were for a private service, celebrated amongst her immediate family. The family was honored to have Msgr. Duprey of St. Peter's parish preside over her funeral service,. The family was also very thankful for the mass intentions celebrated by Bishops in West Turkey and Rome, Italy on September 9th, 2019. Betty was buried next to her beloved husband at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rouses Point, NY.
