PLATTSBURGH – Brenda Stockdale, 79, passed away, February 6, 2020.

She was born in Plattsburgh on August 17, 1940, daughter of George and Bertha (Reil) Ducatte.

Brenda worked in the housekeeping department for many years at Our Lady of Victory Academy. She enjoyed doing various crafts and listening to country music. Brenda loved visiting and spending time with her family and friends, and especially her loving cats. She was a beautiful person who loved life and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda (Doug) Quinn of Montreal; son, Danny Stockdale of Plattsburgh; brother, Larry Ducatte of Plattsburgh; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Karen (Brian) Blanchard.

Brenda was predeceased by her husband, James Stockdale and siblings, Gloria Collins, Adrith Daley, Linda Justice, Alvin Ducatte, and Maidge Hewson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020 from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in St. Peter's Church. Burial will take place in the spring in the parish cemetery.
