WEST CHAZY--- Cassandra J. Tomkiewicz, 20, of Ridge Rd., passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Adirondack Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh on August 5, 1995, the daughter of Elijah Tomkiewicz, Jr. and Vicki (Landry) Tomkiewicz. Cassi attended Beekmantown High School and Clinton Community College. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Cassi will always be remembered for her big heart and her love of helping others. Survivors include her parents, Elijah and Mary Tomkiewicz of Moira, Vicki Landry Tomkiewicz and Gregory Vassar of West Chazy; siblings, Evan Landry Tomkiewicz of West Hartford CT, Brendon Gladue of Plattsburgh, Morgan Vassar of Plattsburgh, Justin Lavarnway of Canton, Edward Russell III of Moira, Katie Lavarnway of Moira, Melissa LaClair of Ft. Drum; grandparents, Melvena Tomkiewicz of Redford, Edward and Anne Landry of Ellenburg, Melvin Nichols of Morrisonville Cassi was predeceased by Elijah Tomkiewicz, Sr, Phyllis Nichols and Mary Nichols. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A funeral will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
