PLATTSBURGH – Cassidy (Cass) A. Clark, 80, of Lake Forest Drive, passed away, January 13, 2025.

He was born on July 3, 1944, son of Carleston and Edna (Nephew) Clark of Plattsburgh, NY.

Cass graduated from St. John's Academy and went on to receive a college degree from SUNY Plattsburgh.

Very early on, Cass chose a life of customer service. His work history includes early years at the Grand Union as their Produce Manager, Valley Vending sales representative, Walmart Supervisor, and H&R Block administration where he helped with tax season workloads.

In his personal time, Cass was an active and loyal member of the Elks Club, Kiwanis, and the Moose Lodge.

For most of his life, Cass was a participating member of pool, darts, bowling, and golf leagues within Clinton County. His passions for sports led to knowledge he was able to give back through part time work with Plattsburgh Lanes, Plattsburgh Golf, and volunteering at Bluff Point.

Cass was also a family man and ensured he and Beth had adventures together. He made time for many cruises, destination vacations and cross-country trips. He also always attended every life event of his stepdaughters regardless of location.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Beth Clark; stepdaughters Michelle Duquette and her wife, Melissa Mitravich, and Heather (Duquette) Wolf and her husband, Nicholas Wolf. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Walter Coolidge, his wife Bridgette, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cass was predeceased by both of his parents and several aunts and uncles: Robert and Sylvia Clark, Leonard and Rita Nephew, Leighton and Lorraine Nephew, Orville and Thelma Nephew, and Clemmon "Joe" and Gloria Nephew.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
