PLATTSBURGH--- Cecilia Reavis, 83, of Nichols Avenue, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the CVPH Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Plattsburgh on August 26, 1933 the daughter of Mose and Nora (Kipp) Facteau.

Cecilia graduated from D'Youville Academy in 1951 and later attended SUNY Plattsburgh where she graduated in 1981.

She was a self employed accounting and tax preparation specialist doing business as Accounting Plus.

Cecilia was a member of the Champlain Valley BPW, St. Peter's Altar Rosary Society and St. Matthews Guild, Eye Care for the Adirondacks Fitness Center, Red Hatters, The Full Moon Group, and 13 Sundays.

Cecilia enjoyed traveling the world and taking cruises, reading, crossword puzzles, current events, movies, and dining out.

Survivors include four children, Dianne Mosher LaVarnway of Plattsburgh, Christine Mosher of Plattsburgh, Sharron Mosher Smith and her husband, Patrick of Garland, TX and Bennett Reavis of Plattsburgh; three sisters, Veronica Thomas of Columbus, OH, Lenora Witt of Plattsburgh and Marilyn Facteau of Kettering, OH; three grandchildren, Jesse LaVarnway, Jamie LaVarnway Beshel and Nina Smith; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Grace Crowley.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:30 am in St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Entombment will take place at a later date in the Columbarium at St. Peter's Cemetery.
