CADYVILLE - Charles McLean Allen, 32, of Cadyville, NY, passed away November 21 at his home.  Beloved son, brother, father, and uncle, Charles was born April 16, 1993 in Plattsburgh, NY.  The son of David M. Allen (deceased), Susan (Allen) and Robert Greene. Charles was a kind spirit who always put others before himself. He loved animals (especially his dogs) and the outdoors.  He enjoyed fishing, hiking, biking, woodworking, and jewelry making. Charles had a creative soul and wrote many songs and poems (although he was an imaginative speller), and told epic stories.  Above all else, he loved his daughter, Esther Rose.

In addition to his parents and daughter, Charles is survived by his siblings and their children: Tiffany (Scott) Ruch, Sparrow and Appin; Timothy Allen, Bridgette, Jack, and Sawyer; Christine (Colby) Gilmore, Kieran and Alice; Robert (Pebbles) Bacon, Wade, Orion, Ana, Dawson, and Carlie; Thomas McLean Sr., Thomas, and Carter; John McLean (Trisha James), Kendra; Joseph McLean (Megan Bordeau), Gage, Bobby, Marshall, and Lucas; honorary stepmother, Priscilla McLean; and close cousins, Reggie and Cody McLean. He also leaves a large extended family who will miss his laughter and stories.

Visitation hours will be at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, Plattsburgh, NY, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, 12:00-2:00 PM.  Funeral services will follow at Plattsburgh House of Prayer, 63 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, NY, at 2:30 PM. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery in the Spring.
