Plattsburgh, NY - Christopher Andrew Lewis, 61, passed away on August 15, 2026 following a long battle with cancer at the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY. Christopher is survived by a sister Audrey McGee of Waterville, ME, a niece Zante Bixby, and two great-nieces Rogue and Payton, and a great-nephew Gideon. Three brothers - Karl Lewis and his wife Sheila Mae of Thomaston, ME, with two nephews Karl Jr., Cameron, and a niece Katrina; brother Peter ‘Tony’ Lewis of Bowdoinham, ME; and brother Roger Lewis of Skowhegan, ME with nieces Jenny, Casey, Ally, and nephew Nathan. He also had many great-nephews and great-nieces, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Paul Douglas Lewis of Richmond, ME; his mother and stepfather Pamela Auspland Wagner and Christopher Wagner of Enfield, CT; a brother Scott Aaron Lewis of Waterville, ME; and his wife Brenda-Anne (Dupuis) Lewis of PQ, Canada.
Christopher was born on October 5, 1964 and spent most of his younger years in Maine with his family, where he went to Windham High School. He moved to the Champlain, NY area to be close to his wife Brenda-Anne. After her passing he remained in the Champlain Valley area. An avid gardener, he owned Champlain Fig Tree Farm selling vegetables, plants and seeds at local farmer’s markets in Champlain and Plattsburgh and online through his Etsy storefront. There will be a private Celebration of Life for Christopher in Maine with his family.
