WEST CHAZY -- Clarabell Varin, 75, of Military Turnpike, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Chazy the daughter of Alexander and Rose (Nephew) Garrand.

She married Theodore J. Varin, Sr. in 1993 in Plattsburgh.

Survivors include her son, Frederick Varin of West Chazy; grandson, Shane Varin of Coopersville; brother and sister-in-law Robert "Bobby" and Joan Garrand of Mooers, Ronald Garrand of Plattsburgh; sister, Patricia and Donald Perkins of Plattsburgh; sisters-in-law Beverly Garrand of Altona and Connie Brault of

Florida; caregiver, Sue Rabideau of Altona.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, several brothers, sisters and their spouses.

A graveside service will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery in Champlain, at a later date.

Donations may be made to the American Lung Association or Hospice of the North Country, in memory of Clarabell.
