PLATTSBURGH– Craig S. Grenier, 59, of Champlain Street, passed away on May 24, 2020 at the CVPH Medical Center.

He was born in Plattsburgh, on November 9, 1960 the son of Clifford and Nancy (Varno) Grenier.

Craig graduated from Dannemora High School.

He was employed at Swarovski Lighting in Plattsburgh as an assembler. Craig took great pride in his job, and his co-workers were a second family to him.

Craig loved his two weekly bowling leagues, bbq's with family, fishing, trips to the Casino and listening to his nephew's bands. He also enjoyed construction projects and helping family and friends.

Survivors include his stepson, Justin Sylvester; stepdaughter, Christi Leister; brothers, Dean Grenier and Joe Grenier; sisters, Dawn (Ricky) LaVarnway, Deborah (Gary) Daniels and Lynn (Frank) McKinney; longtime close friend, Richard "Dick" Currier and their dog, Peanut; nieces and  nephews; Nancy Provost and her daughter, Samantha Kennedy, Amanda Daniels and her sons, Damien Daniels and Xavier Wilson, Matt (Andrianna) McKinney and their son, Liam McKinney, James Grenier (fiancé, Nikki Silver), Amy Daniels and her son, Kobe Pretty, Travis Daniels, Corey Grenier (fiancé, Kayla Dashnaw) and their daughter, Willow Grenier, Brittany (Harold) Parent and their sons, Harold III and Holdynn Parent, Cody Grenier, Jacob Sorrell (fiancé, Madi Martin), and Montana Sorrell and her two children, Paedynn and Khloe Duffina.

He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, James Grenier and Gary Grenier.

Services were private for the family.

Burial will be at a later date in St. Peters Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
