PLATTSBURGH- David J. Cable, 70, of Aspen Court, passed away, September 26, 2019.

He was born in Plattsburgh on December 5, 1948, son of Richard and Rita (Brown) Cable.

Following his graduation from High School, David served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1972. He also later served 6 years in the Navy Reserves.

He then worked at the Clinton County Sheriff's Department as manager of the Civil Office, retiring in 2008 after 36 years of service.

David enjoyed bowling and photography and was an avid collector.

Survivors include his brother, Richard Cable and his wife Celine of Plattsburgh; sister, Linda Rowe of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and two siblings, Elaine C. Knickerbocker and Robert Cable.

At David's request there will be no public services.

Burial will be in Bushnell National Cemetery in Florida.
