With profound sadness, we announce the passing of David W. Pearce, a husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on July 10, 2026. David was born on August 28, 1957, in the town of Plattsburgh, New York, to his parents, Wendell and Rosalie Pearce, who both predeceased him.

David’s life was a testament to the values of hard work, dedication, and commitment. As a skilled carpenter, he built more than just structures; he worked tirelessly to create beauty in all that he touched. His legacy continues through his wife, Karen Pearce, his son, Cory D. Pearce, and his two grandchildren, Tyler and Isabella Pearce.

An active and proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, David’s faith was a guiding light throughout his life. It was in the community and fellowship of the church that he found both comfort and purpose.

David was a man of many passions. An avid fisherman, he found serenity and joy casting his line into the Saranac River. His talent for woodworking was well-known, and many homes are graced with the pieces he crafted with care and precision. He also had a green thumb, tending to his gardens with patience, nurturing each plant to flourish into beauty.

In honoring David’s wishes, a private funeral was held, and he is laid to rest at the Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh, New York, close to the Saranac River, where he found peace. While we say goodbye to David, we hold onto the memories that will forever remain in our hearts.

David Pearce was a man who cherished the little things in life and quietly lived with humility. Though he has departed from this world, his spirit remains ever-present, a gentle reminder of a life well-lived.
