West Chazy – Diane L. Bushey, 67, of Recore Road, passed away on July 1, 2026 at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT, with her family by her side.

She was born in Plattsburgh on January 12, 1959 the daughter of George and Shirley (Trombley) Hart.

Diane graduated from Beekmantown Central School in 1978.

She was employed by Ames Department Store and Schonbek in Plattsburgh.

Diane was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She enjoyed going to the Casino, cruises, riding UTV at her camp in Owls Head, boating, crafting, baking and spending time with her family on the holidays.

Survivors include, her husband, Kevin Bushey who she married on August 16, 1980; son, Keith Bushey, and his wife, Kelley; daughter Heather Durrin and her husband, Andrew; grandchildren, Brody Durrin, Charlotte Durrin, Ava Bushey and Cora Bushey and a sister, Debra Garsow-Deyo, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her in-laws, Thomas & Nancy Bushey, a nephew, Chad Garsow, brother-in-law, Wayne Garsow, sister-in-law, Noreen Allbright.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 4 to 6 at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Wednesday, July 8, at 10:00am at St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh.

Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
