Donna Marie
Hock
March 30, 1950 – May 25, 2024
PLATTSBURGH –Donna Hock 74, a resident of Meadowbrook Nursing Home and formerly of Lake View Towers passed away after a long illness with lymphedema and calegio carsanoma.
She was born in Altona New York to Mildred and Donald Dame.
Donna met and married William (Bill) Hock of New York City in August 1991. They went to Hawaii and the Poconos on their honeymoon which was a memory Donna held dear and forever close to her heart.
Her passions were making holiday earrings, and adult coloring, and mostly enjoying the wide variety of friends especially Bonnie Sharlow, her dearest best friend.
Donna was predeceased by her loving husband Bill Hock, her parents Mildred and Donald Dame, sisters, Cheryl Dame, Chriss Dame, Ernie Edwards, and Dana LaFountain, and brother, John Dame all of Plattsburgh.
Donna is survived by her twin sister, Sonya Dame, Shelley (Park) Parker, and Robyn Graham. She is also survived by her niece (long time sister) Terri (Jeff) Beeching. Also all her nieces, nephews, and cousins who she loved dearly.
Donna was a gentle loving soul who would not knowingly hurt anyone or anything. Those of us who knew and loved her will miss her dearly, but rest assured heaven got a little brighter today with her arrival to join the rest of her family.
A heartfelt thanks to all those who helped her everyday including Meadowbrook Nursing Home, Elderwood Nursing Home, and CVPH for their professional assistance caring for our special girl. Also to those of us who loved her every day and made her day filled with love and sunshine.
