PLATTSBURGH – Dustin A. Pickering, 26, of Plattsburgh, passed away, July 21, 2022 at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

He was born in Plattsburgh on August 13, 1995, son of Renae (Livsey) Nephew.

Dustin graduated from Beekmantown High School and then went to work for UPS as a driver, a job he truly enjoyed.  During his spare time, Dustin could be found almost anywhere outdoors.  He loved nature and especially going hunting and fishing.

Dustin will be forever remembered as a loving and caring individual.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Renae Nephew (Joe Murphy);  his siblings, Michael (Jessica) Livsey and Courtney Pickering;  his grandfather, Gary (Cynthia) Pickering;  nieces and nephews, Lance, Caedmon, Irelynn, and Cyrus Livsey;  his loving Beagle, Buck;  and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dustin was predeceased by his uncle, Joseph "Cecil" Livsey;  grandparents, Thomas and Christine Livsey and Alice Lemieux;  and his other canine companion, Bo.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28 ^th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 29 ^th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
