PLATTSBURGH – Edward "Pete" Webber, Jr., 97, passed away on July 16, 2021 at the CVPH Medical Center.

He was born in Plattsburgh on September 24, 1923 the son of Edward and Addie (Sanford) Webber, Sr.

Edward was employed as a printer for the Press Republican for 45 years, following in his father's footsteps.

He loved to travel, especially to Florida.

Survivors include his son, John Webber and wife Linda; son-in-law, Bryon Bissonette; sister, Marilyn Giamotti; grandchildren, Jeremy Bissonette, Jennifer Bowen and Ian Webber and wife, Amanda;  and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents;  his first wife of 54 years Agnes (Favreau) Webber;  longtime companion, Veronica Light;  daughter, Beth Bissonette;  sisters, Viola Besaw and Doris Schewer;  and a grandson, Sean Webber.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh.  The family will greet guests prior to the service.  Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Double H Ranch in Lake Luzerne.
