PLATTSBURGH – Elaine F. Munch, 74, passed away, June 14, 2020.
She was born in Gouverneur, NY on March 8, 1946, daughter of Charles and J. Evelyn (Barker) Munch.
She worked at Merkels Department store, and then the Park & Post in Plattsburgh for many years until her retirement.
During her younger years, Elaine spent summers in Vernon Downs, NY with her family and was also involved in Harness Racing.  She enjoyed the wintertime, going ice skating and learning how to cross country ski in her later years.
Elaine was a generous and loving woman who could always find the good in anything.  Her sweet smile and cheerful "Hello" will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen Burch, Kelly and Paul Blodgett, and Tiffany and Bill Creighton;  brother, Robert Munch;  grandchildren, Daniel, Nick, Kaytlin, Emily, Jordan, Holly and Natalie;  three great-grandchildren;  three nieces and one nephew.
She is predeceased by her sister Eileen Haskins.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
