PLATTSBURGH -----Elizabeth "Betty" A. Hebert, 80, passed away August 21, 2018.

She was born in Plattsburgh on March 27, 1938 the daughter of Henry and Georgianna (Langley) Jarvis.

Betty worked at Champlain Valley Industries in Quality Control Department for many years retiring in April 2016.

She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. John's Catholic Church in Plattsburgh. Betty enjoyed needle point work, sewing and crocheting. Most of all she enjoyed listening to music on her iPad and playing Bingo.

Survivors include her loving husband Ernest Hebert of Peru, numerous friends and confidants at Valehaven Home for Adults in Peru where she and Ernie have resided since 2015.

Valehaven would like to express a special thank you to the Meadowbrook Healthcare Subacute staff for all their wonderful care and love they gave to Betty while she was receiving their services.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 28th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will follow in Divine Mercy Cemetery in Plattsburgh.

Donations in Betty's memory may be made to Valehaven Home for Adults Peru. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
