MORRISONVILLE: Felinda A. Rock, 92, of Mason St., died Wednesday at CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh on August 2, 1917 the daughter of David and Felinda (Beshon) Stone. Mrs. Rock married Frank Rock in 1934 at St. Peters Church. She was a member of St. Josephs Church in Treadwells Mills. Mrs. Rock was a member of both the Schuyler Falls and Beekmantown Sr. Citizens, and also enjoyed bingo and crocheting. She worked at Georgia Pacific Paper Mill for many years, retiring in 1978. Survivors include three sons, Francis Rock and his wife Janis of Elizabethtown, Floyd Rock and his wife Brenda and Gregory Rock and his wife Brenda all of Morrisonville; two daughters, Barbara Sorrell and her husband Roswell and Linda LaDuke and her husband, Wayne all of Morrisonville; one brother, Jean Stone of Champlain; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two great great grandsons and several nieces and nephews. Two sons, Donald and Robert Rock; three brothers, Norman, Floyd and David Stone; one sister Virginia Facteau and a granddaughter all died earlier. Calling hours will be held today from 5 to 8 pm at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11 am at St. Josephs Church in Treadwells Mills, followed by burial in St. Alexanders Cemetery. Donations, in her memory, may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
