PLATTSBURGH--- Francis "Sonny" Senecal, 85, of Bailey Ave., Plattsburgh, passed away Sunday December 9, 2018 at CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Plattsburgh on January 17, 1933 the son of Francis and Stella Senecal.

Sonny was an Air Force Veteran. After returning home he married Beatrice Bruso at St. John's Church on December 15, 1956.

He worked for Anheuser-Busch, Plattsburgh Distribution for 38 years. Sonny was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Senecal of Plattsburgh; daughters, Terri Senecal, Penney Senecal and wife Kerry Miciotto; siblings, Maynard (Shirley) Senecal, Shirley Bruno, Theresa Grande; 3 grandchildren, Heather Duell, Johnny Nephew, Cory Nephew; 9 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, John Nephew; several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, son Keith Senecal, daughter, Wanda Nephew, two brothers and two sisters.

Calling hours will be held Friday December 14thfrom 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Peter's Church. Burial will be at a later date in the parish cemetery.
