Francis C. Siskavich, Jr., 66, of Myrons Place, Morrisonville, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026 at the UVM Medical Center.
He was born in Plattsburgh, on October 28, 1959 the son of Francis and Myrtle (Pageau) Siskavich, and over his lifetime had many names he was known by including Frenchy Jr., Francois and Frank.
Francis attended Northern Adirondack Central School and went on to graduate from St. John’s in 1978.
He met the love of his life the former Donna Carter and they married on February 14, 1981.
Following school, Francis went to work for the NYS Department of Corrections and retired after many years of service from Altona Correctional Facility.
Francis loved to be out in nature going fishing with his best friend, Steve York and also spending time hunting.
Survivors include, his wife, Donna Siskavich; daughter, Jaime Siskavich and her children, Abigaile Siskavich and Cayonna Sykes; son, Adam Siskavich and companion, Mandy Winterbottom, and his children, Gaje Siskavich and Angel Hicks; son Shane Siskavich and his child, Bryce Siskavich; siblings, Bernard & Blanch Siskavich, Paula Siskavich, Kathy Young, Anna & Keith Morey, Margaret Pittman, Mary & Robert Poitras, Rita & Thomas Benjamin, Janet Collins and companion, John Sampica, Eva & Ronnie Parsons, Sandra & Harold Derr, Veronica & Robert Demers, Peter & Shelby Siskavich and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; In-laws, Leon & Glaydas Carter; brothers-in-law, Moses Pittman, Rodney Collins and Daniel Carter; and sister-in-law, Danise Carter.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 6th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bernard’s Church in Lyon Mountain. Family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
