Genny was born in Plattsburgh, New York, on December 4, 1940. On April 24, 1957, Genny embarked on a journey of love and devotion as she joined hands with her soulmate. Together, they crafted a life that was plucked from the pages of a fairytale. Genny's life was a symphony of faith, love, and unwavering resilience. Her dedication to her family knew no bounds, each action fueled by a love that echoed the divine. Guided by her steadfast faith, she navigated the twists and turns of life with grace and determination, her love for God serving as the steadfast beacon illuminating their path through this beautiful, chaotic world. Her love for the Blessed Mother and her family was like no other. She was the literal glue holding the family together.

Genny's zest for life was infectious, whether embarking on adventures with her husband, enjoying the simple pleasures of a good romance novel under the sun, or dancing around the house to the tunes of Conway Twitty and George Jones. Her legacy of unconditional love and unwavering support will forever be remembered, as she was always there to lend a compassionate ear to those in need. Like her laughter, her spirit was contagious, filling every corner of her home with warmth and joy. In her younger years, Genny found solace in the freedom of the open road, relishing in motorcycle and snowmobile rides and creating cherished memories with her loved ones. Her love for camping and travel mirrored her adventurous spirit, leaving a mark on the hearts of those who shared in her adventures. She truly lived to care for her family, which can be seen by the love that has and will forever surround her. Genny enjoyed car hopping at the now-historic Astrodome and Orange Julip. Retiring from Shonbeck International after 18 years of dedicated service, Genny's legacy of hard work and perseverance inspires all who knew her. Though she may have left this world, her memory lives on in the countless lives she touched, a testament to a life well-lived and a heart that knew only love.

As we bid farewell to Genny, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
