PLATTSBURGH ---Gloria L. (Covington) Brown, 67, of Leblanc Ln., passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 30, 1954 the daughter of Luther and Louise (Moore) Covington. Gloria married Ellis Brown on October 7, 1979 in Brooklyn.

Gloria loved spending time with her family. She liked watching Judge Judy, dancing, play games on her laptop, cooking, sewing and shopping at Walmart.

Survivors include her children, Corey Covington of Plattsburgh, Tamecia Covington of Elkhart, IN; brothers Johnny Covington of Bronx, Randy Covington of Brooklyn; grandchildren Quanisha Covington, Raekwon Covington, Maurice Covington, Zion Armstrong, Amani Morgan: 3 great grandchildren; 5 nieces and 4 nephews.

Gloria was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ellis, brothers Ernest Covington, Luther Covington, Jr. and son Malik Morgan.

Gloria was a woman with a loving heart and was always willing to help others and give you her last. She will forever be missed and in our hearts forever.

A private service will be held for the family.
