Hazel L. Gough, of Flynn Avenue in Plattsburgh, passed away on August 6, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Middle Granville, New York on March 4, 1930, to Walter and Mary (Murtaugh) LaBombarde and spent most of her life living in Plattsburgh and the surrounding area.

Most of her professional life was working at various Insurance agencies as a licensed insurance agent. In her later years many will remember her for her volunteer work at the OLV thrift store where she worked as a cashier. She loved making new friends and staying busy.

Survivors include her children, Randell Brown (Jeanne) of Daytona Beach, FL, Judith Corigliano (Thomas) of Halfmoon, NY, Larry Brown (Linda) of Hunter's Ridge, CA, and Robin Bashaw of West Chazy, NY., as well as eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her daughters, Linda Brown and Susan Downey.

Hazel's family would like to express their gratitude to the North Country Hospice Community for their compassion and care.

Services were held privately, and cremation took place according to her wishes.
