Obituary

WEST CHAZY – Heather L. Finley-Rambin, 51, of Slosson Road, passed away, May 18, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

She was born on October 6, 1973, daughter of Bruce and Debbie (Marsh) Finley.

Heather attended Lake Shore Christian School and graduated from Beekmantown Central School.

She married Chance Rambin in Niagara Falls on June 8th.

Heather enjoyed scrapbooking, spending time in her garden, and loved to be in the kitchen cooking and canning.  She also found joy camping and taking trips to New Hampshire.

Nothing brought her greater joy than taking care of her boys and being around her friends and family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Chance Rambin;  her "boys" Jacob Finley and his companion Taylor Jarvis and William Todd Edward Colvard;  her parents, Bruce and Debbie Finley;  her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Judith and Millard Rambin;  brother, Jason Finley and companion, Kamie St. Germaine;  sisters, Janis Burkhart and husband Tom and Dani Rambin-Villandrie and husband Mark;  grandchildren, Carter Finley and Kaysen Finley;  brother-in-law, Chip Rambin;  aunts and uncles, James L. Marsh and companion Brenda, Carol Hubbard and her husband Wayne, Sheila Finley, Rose Rowand, Roger Marsh and companion Alice, Kevin Marsh and companion Liz, Dale Finley, Allen Pellerin and Kristin and Greg Carnright along with Kristen's mother Julie Colvard;  nieces, Breanna Feathers, Kaylie Feathers, Ashley Feathers, Savanah Finley, Raelynn St. Germaine, Nikki Wright, Jamie Wright, Bobbie Jo Kemp, Alison Burkhart, Brielle Carnright Ali and Mike Kinahan, and Demi and Adam Cook;  and nephews, Shane Reynolds, Jesse Finley, Brad Finley, Blayne Finley, Brenden Carnright, Brett Carnright, and Dawson Pellerin.  She also leaves behind a large extended family including Jenn Fordley, and Tom and Susan Latinville and family.

Heather was predeceased by her grandparents, James and Marian Marsh and Robert and Marilyn Finley;  aunt and uncle, Brad and Pat Finley;  aunt, Tracy Pellerin;  cousin, Brian Finley;  and niece, Julie Wright.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21st from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
