Hope Allison Donah/LaHart, 50, of Keeseville, New York, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, at UVM in Vermont. Hope was born on December 22, 1975 in Plattsburgh New York to Janice and Ronald LaHart. She passed after a long battle with health complications, having been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung cancer among other things.
Hope Donah’s passing will leave behind her daughter Patricia LaHart, and her son Dakota Martin. She cared about her family and her pets. Hope was predeceased by her parents Janice and Ronald as well as her Grandmother Flora LaHart who she cared about greatly. Hope is survived by her sister Holly Gibeau and her nieces Krystalin, Olivia, and Tiffany as well as her two children.
Hope spent a lot of her life working at various jobs the two most known were Salarno’s where she was a manager for a while. Then having become a Bus Driver for Clinton County Public Transit for the rest of her working time. She made many friends and effected many lives whether it being co-workers or passengers.
Hope had a few enjoyments in her life, she loved Harley Davidsons as well as wolves and Pitbulls. She was known by a few as “Mama Pitbull”. She could be mostly seen drinking Dunkin Donuts and wearing her favorite Harley Davidson jacket.
Honoring Hope’s wishes, the family will not be holding a public funeral or celebration of life at this time.
