CHAZY- James M. McWhinnie, 67, of Trombly Lane, passed away January 1, 2021 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Rochester, on June 30, 1953 the son of Melvin and Esther (Labare) McWhinnie.

James graduated from Chazy Central School and Clinton Community College. He was a member of the Chazy Presbyterian Church.

James worked with his father at E.C. McWhinnie & Sons in Chazy for many years.

Survivors include his sister, Mary Faye; nephew, Todd S. Pratt; cousins from New York, Vermont and Canada; his caregivers, Dan and Claire Duffina.

He was predeceased by his parents, grandparents, Edwin and Jessie (Todd) McWhinnie, Homer and Elsie (Lewis) Labare, step-grandparent Helen (Dickson) Labare.

Due to Covid-19, services will be held in the spring. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
