SARANAC – Jane Bull, 90, of Chazy Lake Road, passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2024.

She was born on August 10, 1933 daughter of Robert and Margaret (Newton) Napper.

Jane married Alvin Bull on July 8, 1956 at the Saranac Methodist Church.  He predeceased her on January 21, 2009.

She attended Albany Business College and earned a diploma in Business Administration and Accounting.  Jane often shared the stories of the fun rides she and her friends had going back and forth to school.

During her younger years, Jane loved to travel with her husband and especially enjoyed spending time in Anchorage, AK working at a bank while her husband was stationed there.  Following their time in Alaska, they returned home driving across the states, making many memories.  She became fond of lighthouses and the ocean during their many family trips to Maine, New Hampshire, and New Jersey.  Jane would also share stories of growing up on the farm and was a lover of nature and animals.  During her later years, Jane loved to take rides with her daughter, Delsie.

Jane also loved her home and living on the hill.  She was always willing to help in any way she could, including helping put the roof on their home while she was pregnant with her first child, Jeff.   Above all else was her love of family.  Nothing made her happier than visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and especially her family dinners.

Survivors include her daughter, Delsie Bull and her fiancée, Joseph Aesquivel; daughter-in-law, Lisa (James) Bull-Dowdle; grandchildren, Jessica (Justin) St. Louis and Evan (Renée) Bull; great-grandchildren, Jackson Jeffrey, Vivienne Jane, Joelle Alyse, and Alvin Jeffrey; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband; sons, Jeffrey Bull and Brock Bull; and brother, Ellsworth Napper.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 21st from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Saranac United Methodist Church followed by a funeral service at 3:30.

Burial will take place on Monday, April 22nd at 1:30 p.m. in Independence Cemetery in Saranac.
