Ellenburg Depot — Jane M. Venne, 68, of Plank Road, passed away, Monday, April 27, 2020 with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Plattsburgh on October 9, 1951 the daughter of Otto and Agnes (Sawyer) Gonyea.

Jane graduated from Northern Adirondack Central School.

She married Henry Venne on February 12, 1972 at St. Bernard's Church in Lyon Mountain.

Jane retired from CVPH Medical Center as a CNA.

She loved her vegetable and flower gardens, trips to Ohio and walking with her husband and best friend. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Venne; sons, Henry (Stacy) Venne, Arthur (Sandie) Venne and Willie (Nikki) Venne; daughter, PenElaine (James) LaPoint; brothers, Vern (Lydia) Gonyea and Otto (Margorie) Gonyea; sisters, Carol (Bill) Flemming and Joyce (Joe) Rich; grandchildren, Tyler, Roland and James LaPoint, Adam and Rachael Venne, Cheri Venne, Josh Savaria, Ivan, Corban and Audrey Venne; great-grandchildren, Easton and Zaden LaPoint and Leah Agnew.

Jane was predeceased by her parents and three brothers, Gerald, Donald and James Gonyea.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
