PLATTSBURGH ---Janet Parrotte, 89, of Wallace Hill Road, passed away, September 21, 2018 at the CVPH Medical Center.

She was born in Cadyville on November 30, 1928 the daughter of John and Nettie (Tamer) Stacey.

Janet married Wayne Parrotte on February 9, 1948 at St. John's Church in Plattsburgh.

She worked at Delagar in Rouses Point for many years.

Janet enjoyed cooking meals and playing cards with her family and friends. Most of all, she loved to bake. Janet loved to share all of her wonderful baked goodies!

Survivors include her loving husband of 70 years, Wayne Parrotte of Plattsburgh; one daughter, Anita and Bob Debbie of Florida; two sons, Timothy and Tonya Parrotte of Ellenburg Depot and Paul and Julie Parrotte of South Carolina; six grandchildren, Shawn Parrotte, Jarrod Parrotte, Stephanie Pandal, Meghan Debbie, Elizabeth Parrotte, and Emma Guerin; two great-grandchildren, Ryan Debbie and Andrew Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sons, Wayne Parrotte, Jr. and Gregory Parrotte; and two siblings, John Stacey and Anita Seaman.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 24th from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 5:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Chazy.
