ROUSES POINT – Janice M. LaValley, 81, formerly of Maple Street, passed away September 30, 2024.

She was born on June 10, 1943, daughter of Henry and Lena (Barcomb) LaValley.

Janice worked at Wyeth in Rouses Point as a secretary and retired after more than 42 years of service.

She enjoyed traveling in her spare time and was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point.

Survivors include her nephew Dennis LaValley and his wife, Gail of Chazy;  niece, Donna Bechard and her husband David of Plattsburgh;  and great-nieces and great-nephews, Joshua and Danielle Bechard, Corey and Megan Spuck, Lindsay and Jon Greaney and Garrett and Cara Mastic.

Janice was predeceased by her parents;  brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Irene LaValley;  and great-niece, Ashley LaValley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point.  Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery in Mooers Forks.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Rouses Point Fire Department.
