PLATTSBURGH- Jeffery Todd Golden, 53, passed away January 30. 2022. He was born in Plattsburgh in 1968, the son of Myron and Carolyn (Poissant) Golden.

He spent most of his adult life in Seattle, Washington where his warmth, generosity, and humor earned him scores of friends. He loved to cook and bake and to share the food with others. He was never happier than when he could feed you! In the summer he would grow a ridiculous amount of tomatoes just to be able to give them away. Jeff was passionate about music, books, and movies and was always ready to talk to you about them.

Jeff worked for ten years at the University of Washington Medical Center in the histology department. Most recently he had a job he loved at the Plattsburgh Public library where he was a favorite among staff and patrons.

His family loves him very much and he will forever be in our hearts.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Shelli and Victor Maldonado; nephew, Manny Maldonado; mother, Carolyn Mesec; step-mom, Beverly Golden; grandson, Quran and his wife Brittany Carroll; great-grandchildren, Jacelynn and Josiah Carroll. He is also survived by, Sonya & William Giddings, Nevaeh Strong, Joe & Miguel Maldonado and ex-husband Scot Augustson.

Jeff is preceded by brother John Mark Golden, niece Monica Maldonado, grandmother Thelma Poissant, and father Myron Golden.

We are all so thankful to have had Jeff in our lives.
