PLATTSBURGH – Jeffrey C. Barnes, 62, of Point Au Roche Rd., passed away

Monday, March 22, 2021 at UVM Medical Center in Burlington.

He was born in Plattsburgh on July 19, 1958 the son of Milton and Dolores

(Donivan) Barnes.

Jeff married Linda Lennon on September 26, 1987.

He worked for Imperial Wall Covering in Plattsburgh for many years and then for

the Beekmantown Highway Department until his retirement. Jeff enjoyed spending

time with his family, friends, and granddogs. Jeff had a passion for anything with a

motor whether it was one of his snowmobiles, his motorcycle, boat or ATV; one for

every season. Those who knew and loved Jeff will remember him by one of his

many quotes. Jeff was known for his kindness and was always willing to lend a

helping hand.

Survivors include his wife, Linda of 33 years; his children, who he was so proud of,

Christopher Barnes and Kelsey Barnes; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and

Kathy Barnes, David and Renate Barnes, John and Roxann Barnes; several nieces,

nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the R.

W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's

Church in West Chazy.

Donations may be made in memory of Jeff to the Beekmantown Fire Department.

Due to Covid, face coverings and social distancing is required.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
