MORRISONVILLE – Joan M. Rock, 73, of Route 22B, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at her daughter's home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Plattsburgh on January 13, 1946 the daughter of Chauncey and Hazel (Terrier) Dragoon.

Joan graduated from Saranac Central School and Our Lady of Victory School.

She married Stephen Rock at St. Alexander's Church on September 26, 1971.

Joan was employed at Plattsburgh State University for several years.

She enjoyed reading, crocheting, cooking, watching TV and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Stephen Rock of Morrisonville; son, Jason Rock and his wife, Jennifer of West Chazy; daughter, Michelle Perry and her husband, Steven; of Altona; brother, Michael Dragoon of Plattsburgh; sisters, Judy Facteau and her husband, Larry of Morrisonville and Peggy Mello and her husband, Marty of Peru; grandchildren, Tyler Perry, Ethan Perry, Blake Rock and Gerrit Rock and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 6 ^th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville.

Burial will be in the spring in the parish cemetery.
