WEST CHAZY – John B. Rice, 56, passed away Thursday September 13, 2018 in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

John was many things to many people; a courageous Marine and army reservist, a fellow correctional officer, an identical twin, brother, son, uncle, cousin, and so much more. The time that he has spent with friends and loved ones on this earth will forever be cherished.

Survivors include his children, Ryan Rice and Ashley Rice of Plattsburgh; brothers, James and (Penny) Rice and Thomas Rice; sisters, Nicole Pierce and Barbara and (Kevin) Mulligan; five nieces and six nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Jeannine Rice III, his sister, Eileen Walker and brother, Samuel Rice IV.

Please join us for a celebration of life in John's honor at one o'clock, Sunday, September 23rd at the Elk's Lodge in Plattsburgh, NY.
