Obituary

PLATTSBURGH – Joseph M. "Cecil" Livsey, 45, of Apricot Way, passed away on March 7, 2021.

He was born in Buffalo, NY on August 12, 1975 the son of Thomas and Christine (Ujvari) Livsey.

Joseph graduated from Beekmantown High School in 1994.

He was employed as a Quality Assurance Supervisor for AQ/B3CG Manufacturing.

Joseph was a member of the Son's of the American Legion, Post #1619.

He was an avid dart player and enjoyed playing softball for over 20 years and could always "Hit the Mat".

Joseph was a fan of the Buffalo Sabres and was also a die hard Buffalo Bills fan all his life.

Survivors include son, Connor Livsey and companion, Cortlynn Trumble; daughter, Lexie Livsey; brothers, Thomas Livsey, Jr. and his companion Patty Relation, Steve and Heidi Livsey and John and Megan Livsey; sisters, Whitney and Steve Schulz, Renae Livsey and companion Joe Murphy and Krystyn and Bill Bell; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Thomas in 2002, his mother Christine in 2015 and a nephew Matthew in March of 1989.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery in the spring.

Donations may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center in Plattsburgh.
