Joyce S. Kline, 93, passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside on October 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and devotion.
Born in Abington, Pennsylvania, on December 13, 1932, Joyce was the second daughter of Mary and Charles Staudt. Joyce met the love of her life, Dr. Robert W. Kline, while they were in college. Their love blossomed into a lifelong partnership. Together they raised three children and built a family that remained Joyce’s greatest source of pride and happiness.
A 1956 graduate of Buffalo State’s Art Education program, Joyce had a lifelong passion for art and a deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms. She also had a special love for flowers, finding joy in their beauty and vibrant colors. In the 1980s, she became a choreographer of the Sweet Adeline’s in Montreal, where she shared her love of music, friendship, and fellowship. From road trips across the United States to adventures throughout the world, Joyce loved traveling and discovering new places with her family. In retirement, she cherished spending the winters in Florida with her beloved husband.
Joyce was not only a devoted wife and mother but also an invaluable partner in her husband’s professional life, working alongside him as office manager in his dental practice.
Above all, Joyce treasured her family. Her love extended across generations, from her children to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Joyce was predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, Dr. Robert W. Kline, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her three children: Dr. Kurt W. Kline and his wife, Diane Fitoussi; Dr. Brad Kline and his wife, Diane Kline; and Kerri-anne Kline Frenya and her husband, Ronald Frenya. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Nikki Rose Kline, Isabel Kline, Grace Kline, Keegan Frenya, and Logan Kline-Frenya, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Robert Lux Frenya and Gabriel Ames Frenya.
Joyce will be remembered for her devotion to her family and her artistic spirit. The love she shared, the memories she created, and the family she nurtured will remain her enduring legacy for generations to come.
