Obituary

COATESVILLE, PA – Julie Ann Mooso, 62, formerly of Rouses Point, passed away, July 23, 2020 at The Wayne Center in Wayne, PA.

She was born in Plattsburgh on June 4, 1958, daughter of Richard J. Labombard and Linda L. (Kilts) Labombard.

Julie married Tim Mooso on June 5, 1993 at St. Anne's Shrine in Isle LaMote, VT.

She retired from Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Rouses Point after 28 years of service.

Julie was a true hippie and free spirit at heart.  Up until recently, she liked to tool around in her VW Bug.  Her stylish ride was decked out with every accessory imaginable, including a bird feeder (always a lover of animals!).  She loved the smell of patchouli, wearing bohemian dresses (if she absolutely had to get out of her pajamas) and taking shots of Patron with anyone who was willing to do it with her.  She loved to craft and always had a project going, which most likely involved upcycling someone's junk and turning it into treasure.  She found joy in the simplest of things like walking her beloved dogs, stopping to help an elderly neighbor or buying popsicles for the neighborhood kids.  She was never afraid to march to the beat of her own drum or break a rule (and possibly a law) as she saw fit.

Family was everything to Julie.  There is nothing she wouldn't do for her children and grandchildren.  Every single one of her grandchildren, at one time or another, turned to Grandma for something they knew they wouldn't get otherwise.  She never said "no," and boy did she deliver big!  She was a devoted wife to her soulmate, Tim, for over 27 years.  They were the truest example of what it means to live by your vows.  Their marriage inspired all who were lucky to bear witness.

Survivors include her husband Tim Mooso;  sons, Nicholas Poissant and Tyler Menard;  daughter, Allyson (Brannoin) Sample;  mother, Linda Labombard;  father, Richard (Joyce) Labombard, Sr.;  brothers, Richard Labombard, Jr., Scott (Julie) Labombard, and Todd Labombard;  grandchildren, Owen, Mya, Aubree, Johna, and Chase;  and many nieces and nephews.

Julie was predeceased by her brother, Kevin Labombard.
