Katherine B. Lord, 78, of Plattsburgh, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on August 18, 1947 the daughter of Harry and Rose (Papa) Bienhold.

Katherine graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1965 and OLVA Secretarial School 1966.

Survivors include her daughter, Carrie Carnright; sister, Christine (Michael) Lapham; grandchildren, Samantha LaFountain, Cassidy LaFountain, and Chase Green; great-grandson, Jackson LaFountain; and niece Rosa Durham.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Lloyd Lord, Jr; son, Jeremy LaFountain; and brother Franz Bienhold.

In honoring Katherine's wishes, there will be no public services at this time.
