JACKSONVILLE- Kathleen "Kathy" (Brennan) Lombardi, 72 of Jacksonville, Florida died Thursday, April 20, 2023 following a heroic battle with sepsis.

Kathy was born in Plattsburgh on May 7, 1950, the daughter of Bill and Molly (Langey) Brennan. She was raised in the friendly village of Dannemora. She graduated from Dannemora High School and went on to graduate from Corning Community College. On April 29, 1972 she married Mark Lombardi at OLVA, Plattsburgh, NY.

Kathy and Mark lived in Jacksonville Florida and enjoyed the warmth of Florida weather and the beaches. Kathy's loving heart was dedicated to her husband Mark, her parents, siblings, and her many nieces and nephews. With the family being scattered around the country, she always looked forward to getting updates on everyone's activities. Kathy was never one to dwell on her own health. The focus was always on family and friends.

Left to cherish Kathy's deep love and her memory are her husband Mark, her brothers Bill Brennan and his wife Barbara, Jim Brennan and his wife Jill, her sisters Marguerite (Brennan) Badger and her late husband Conrad, Monica (Brennan) Emery and her husband Ken, Ellen (Brennan) Wanzung and her husband Jack, Barbara (Brennan) Stevenson and her husband Dick, along with her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Kathy was a beautiful, generous, kindhearted, soulful woman with a welcoming smile and a generous spirit. Her physical presence is gone from us, however, the legacy of her altruistic spirit lives on in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
